Bury Christian Youth (BCY) is a Christian-based charity that has been working in schools across Bury St Edmunds and surrounding areas for over 30 years. We are generously funded by and work closely with many Christian churches across the area. To deliver this we involve local churches wherever possible, seeing ourselves both as an arm of the local Church reaching out and as a bridge between school and church.

Suffolk Christian Camps have provided fantastic holidays for children and families for over 60 years. Popular with parents for our high safety standards and dedicated pastoral care team. Loved by kids who are after adventure, with many returning year after year for more. With three camps on offer, there’s something for everyone.

Sizewell Hall is the perfect place to hold a church house party, youth group’s week away, over 50 groups, men or women’s conferences and even training courses.

The Evangelical Alliance is made up of hundreds of organisations, thousands of churches and tens of thousands of individuals, joined together for the sake of the gospel. Representing our members since 1846, the Evangelical Alliance is the oldest and largest evangelical unity movement in the UK.

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

The Fishermen’s Mission reaches out to both active and retired fishermen by providing practical, spiritual and financial support – as well as a vital emergency response service. We’re the only national charity that works solely to help fishermen and their families, and for over 130 years of service, the Fishermen’s Mission has stayed true to our Christian calling with a strong tradition and proud heritage.

We are a Christian charity that collects unwanted usable tools, refurbishes them, sorts them into trade tool kits and sends them to the developing world for livelihood creation. We send around 18 containers filled with around 225 tonnes of tools every year. We invest in local people supporting their own communities through livelihood creating projects such as skills training centres.

Alpha began at a church called Holy Trinity Brompton (HTB) in London in 1977. Now, all over the world, millions of people have tried Alpha and it has been translated into 112 different languages. The Alpha Talks have been repackaged for today’s audience in the Alpha Film Series and the Alpha Youth Series – created to reach a younger generation with the Gospel. Even as times have changed, the Alpha course has continued to be used by the church as an effective tool to reach the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Amano Christian School aims to provide a high standard of education in the most densely populated province of Zambia, enabling students to develop their full potential. By teaching from a Biblical worldview all students are encouraged to establish a lasting personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and become responsible members of their community.
